The Mandarin allowed me to use my own vendors and they worked with my budget. A lot the hotels on the Vegas strip were very rude and restrictive. I had looked at about 20 venues before choosing the Mandarin. The thing that I appreciated most about the Mandarin was my interaction with Keri and the rest of the staff. (I highly recommend the short rib, which was very tender and flavorful). I know I am biased, but I thought it was delicious. One of my guests said that she had "never felt so pampered in life." We got so many compliments on the food after the wedding. I was very touched that they even made me a dairy-free dessert since I am very lactose intolerant. The food and service were top notch! We had many guests with food allergies and dietary restrictions, and the Mandarin staff did a perfect job of making sure that everyone was accommodated and got the correct food. The view of the strip made our reception magical, and I know the guests appreciated being able to take in the views on the balcony. First of all, the venue was amazing! The view, decor, location, and balcony is what drew me to book the Mandarin, and I was not disappointed on our wedding day. We had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, and I am so happy that we did. Out-of-town guests are only a 15-minute drive from McCarran International Airport.
